Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I’m excited to announce that Christine Pickering has joined the Future of Good team of journalists.

Christine joins as a news and features writer, working closely with our editorial team to cover all things social impact – how it is decolonizing, digitally transforming, shifting power, centering wellbeing and incorporating climate justice. A new era of impact is here and evolving. Christine will be providing in-depth insights, analysis, and reporting, covering a range of topics to keep our members current, knowledgeable and equipped to make brave transitions in this new era of impact.

Christine hails from Toronto, but is currently based in Europe. Before joining Future of Good, she worked as a freelance writer, editor, photographer, and educator. She has spent about a decade in the human rights and non-profit space, including two years with the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Phnom Penh and several years with various North Korean human rights NGOs in Seoul. She looks forward to bringing her storytelling skills and human rights experience to the Future of Good team and to connecting with members.

Future of Good’s mission is to enrich Canada’s changemakers with smart coverage of the social impact world. Our 2500+ subscribers are impact-oriented professionals, executives and entrepreneurs from across the country. Every week, thousands of changemakers from the non-profit, co-operative, corporate, social enterprise, philanthropic, social finance, academic, and public sectors subscribe to our content, attend events and engage with a pan-Canadian peer community. We are immensely grateful for their confidence and support.

Huge thank you to our readers, members, partners and investors. We are a growing team of curious and passionate folks dedicated to helping changemakers flourish.

Please join me in welcoming Christine to the Future of Good team as she starts in her role this week!
