2021 Dismantling Digital Barriers Summit

Strengthening teams for a data and digital-first world.

2020 changed how social impact work is done.

More specifically, it moved this work online at a previously unimaginable speed.

As communities went into lockdown, organizations finally understood that internet and digital skills are essential. But the pandemic also exposed and amplified a major digital disparity in Canadian society and across the social impact sector — from helping women find work to helping the elderly access services to keeping kids learning. Social purpose organizations of all kinds sprung into action in response, but many scrambled to become digital-first overnight.

As changemakers look ahead at their work, the sector isn’t going back to the status quo. Whether you work in fundraising, grantmaking, research, service delivery, programs, advocacy or community engagement, massive digital transitions are underway — whether your organization is ready or not.

Join us on November 2nd and 3rd for Future of Good’s 2021 Dismantling Digital Barriers Summit presented by CIRA. You’ll be joined by more than 500 changemakers working in diverse roles, tackling a range of issues, to learn about the digital transitions required to do your work well.

Featuring plenaries, interactive breakouts, and Braindates to make the most of peer learning, this summit explores the range of digital transitions taking place, and shares actionable steps for strengthening digital affordability, tools and capacity.

Digital transitions take time. In order to better support you in your journey to strengthen your organization’s digital transition and skills, we are including a one-year Future of Good membership with your summit experience.
