Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

It is with great excitement that I announce four new members have joined Future of Good’s global advisory circle.

Ana Serrano is the President & Vice Chancellor of OCAD University. Formerly the Chief Digital Officer of the Canadian Film Centre and Founder of CFC Media Lab, Serrano has over 20 years experience building award-winning digital products, securing millions of dollars of investment for innovation programs from both the public and private sectors, creating global strategic alliances with diverse networks of digital business and creative leaders, and starting new ventures from the ground up.

Antonio Zappulla is CEO at the Thomson Reuters Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the world’s leading content-driven technology company. An outspoken supporter of the business case for human rights, Antonio is the founder of Openly, the world’s first global platform dedicated to coverage of LGBT+ stories with distribution to 1 billion Reuters clients daily. In 2018, Antonio ranked first in the OUTstanding list of third sector LGBT executives published by the Financial Times.

Panthea Lee is an organizer, designer, and facilitator working for structural justice and collective liberation. She serves as the Executive Director of Reboot, and as a fellow at the Center for Science & Imagination at Arizona State University. Panthea builds coalitions of communities, activists, artists, healers, and institutions to dismantle inequity and drive transformative change. She is a pioneer in curating and guiding coalitions to address complex social challenges, with experience doing so in 30+ countries.

Sarah Noble is the Director of External Relations at The New Humanitarian, a global nonprofit newsroom that reports on humanitarian crises. She has more than 15 years of experience in strategic communications, storytelling, fundraising, and partnerships at the international level in organisations focused on peacebuilding, humanitarian issues, and media. She is also co-founder and curator of the Peace Talks at Interpeace, an initiative that highlights the inspirational stories of people who are making positive contributions to peace.

Since our launch in January 2019, Future of Good has quickly become Canada’s go-to digital publication covering the social impact world. We are an essential source of stories, analysis, and commentary that make sense of a society and sector in transition. Future of Good content illuminates how technology, money, places, work, and inclusion are changing social impact post-pandemic — from social services to grantmaking, global development to impact investing.

Future of Good’s global advisory circle is a multidisciplinary group of visionary leaders offering strategic guidance to the core team in operations, team culture, business growth, sensemaking and editorial direction. The new members join leaders such as Ilse Treurnicht, former CEO of MaRS Discovery District, Toby Heaps, Publisher & CEO at Corporate Knights, Danielle Graham, Venture Partner at ArchAngel Fund, and Kunal Gupta, CEO of Polar.

Please join me in welcoming Ana, Antonio, Panthea and Sarah.
