Katrya Bolger joins Future of Good

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

It is with great excitement that I announce that Katrya Bolger has joined the Future of Good team.

Katrya Bolger joins our team as Audience Engagement Editor. She recently served as the editorial assistant for First Policy Response, an online publication focusing on pandemic-related policy ideas in Canada. Prior to that, she worked as an editor for The Globe and Mail’s Live News Desk and the Bangkok Post, Thailand’s largest English-language daily. Her interests include cultural issues, health and inclusion. Katrya will focus on crafting insightful email briefs that help our 2000+ member community stay current and informed, as well as animate and host valuable online exchanges and meaningful events that help them connect, share, and grow as changemakers.

Since our launch in January 2019, Future of Good has quickly become an essential source of stories, analysis, and commentary to make sense of a sector and society in transition. Future of Good’s mission is to enrich changemakers everyday with smart content and coverage of the social impact world. Every week, thousands of changemakers from the nonprofit, co-operative, corporate, social enterprise, philanthropic, social finance, academic, and public sectors subscribe to read our content and engage with a pan-Canadian peer community.

We know that in the midst of a pandemic, we are extremely fortunate to be growing our team. A huge thank you to our members, partners, impact investors and readers for your confidence in Future of Good as an essential professional resource for you and your team. A huge thank you to Jenna Cloughley who was leading this work and will now focus her energies on growing our member community.

Changemakers like you want to hear from diverse voices on how to navigate and adapt your programs, services, and missions to the new era of impact emerging after COVID. This is hard, important work, and will require making sense of the choices ahead, listening, learning, unlearning, speaking with people on the ground, bridge-building, and hosting a community to understand the adaptations already underway to build a more resilient and flourishing social impact world.

Please join me in welcoming Katrya as she begins her role on July 12.
