As a preview of the ideas and discussions that will be happening this week in five cities across the country, we spoke to Whitby, Ont. MP Ryan Turnbull, who is Parliamentary Secretary to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and to the Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry.

The Liberal MP has been on the forefront of social finance initiatives for the federal government and he talks to us about the current state of social finance in Canada, and the initiatives ahead, as well as the role of government in fostering change through social finance and policy initiatives.
