Now more than ever, the world needs us to work together. To combine perspectives, experiences and expertise to come up with truly innovative solutions to the massive challenges our communities are facing. As we enter 2021 and a new phase of a global pandemic, we can pause and reflect on our actions (and inactions) on the major crises we face: from climate change to systemic racism to the pandemic and its economic repercussions. What’s worked, and what hasn’t? What still needs to be addressed? And where do we begin?
We are excited to be celebrating International Development Week this year from Feb 8-12, in partnership with WUSC and the WUSC International Forum. We’ll be kicking off the event by hosting a 5-part engagement on Twitter and Instagram, every day at 10:30 AM (ET) during #IDW2021, prompting one thought-provoking question each day for forum participants and leaders across Canada to share their ideas, insights and experiences. We’ll also feature exciting speakers from the #WUSCForum, and covering reflections from these online discussions through digital stories throughout the month. Don’t miss out.
