Yes! Future of Good has recently become a Registered Journalism Organization (RJO) – this is the news equivalent of a charity. We will issue you a charitable receipt. Our RJO number is 740040910RR0001
2. Can I contribute to the campaign from a Donor Advised Fund or other charitable entity?
Yes you can! As a Registered Journalism Organization (RJO), Future of Good is a CRA Qualified Donee. Our RJO number is 740040910RR0001

4. How is my donation ‘matched’ by others?
Future of Good has institutional partners (such as foundations) that have pledged donations matching support of those we receive from our community backers.
5. It looks like the paywall is already down, why should I donate?
We’ve temporarily taken down the paywall to show everyone the amazing journalism and insights available from Future of Good. But, to keep it down, we need community supporters to contribute.
6. Will I be recognized for my contribution?
Yes, if you want to be. We plan to showcase our supporters who helped take down the wall throughout the campaign. But, if you’d prefer to remain anonymous, you have that option when donating.
7. Can I contribute non-cash assets (e.g. stocks, cryptocurrency)?
We can accept stocks and other securities through a Donor Advised Fund at the Ottawa Community Foundation. We cannot accept cryptocurrency at this time. To arrange a securities donation, please contact anouk@anoukbertner
