Grantwriting was one of the first functions to be consumed by artificial intelligence and automation. Now, the non-profit sector has several tools to choose from in order to help them supercharge their grant applications, including Canadian platforms like GRANTED and GrantOrb.
In this event, we will hear about the opportunities and pitfalls of embedding AI into fundraising operations, as well as hearing from non-profits that have made AI a key part of their process. We will also hear from Canadian funders and foundations, who may have been on the receiving end of AI-generated grant applications, and may themselves be thinking about the growing role of AI in grants and impact management.

Fundraisers are starting to experiment with automation and predictive analytics in some parts of their process, from donor prospecting to writing grants to producing marketing materials and content. Some may be doing so off the side of their desks, while others could be coming up with more formal processes for where AI can slot in. Hear from Good Works Co., the Canadian Centre for Nonprofit Digital Resilience and Benevity on what they’re observing is happening in the fundraising landscape.
