We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Thi Dao to Director, Strategic Partnerships.
Thi has been with Future of Good since the organization’s early days and has been a foundational team member. Thi has been one of the most vocal champions for imagining big, bold opportunities and has continuously worked to build up Future of Good through her various roles. We are excited to see her journey continue with this most recent promotion.
Through her leadership over the past four years, Thi has facilitated more than 100 partnerships with diverse organizations and teams, including World Education Services, TELUS, MENTOR Canada, Small Economy Works, WUSC, Lawson Foundation, RBC, Co-operators – and many more.
Thi has excelled in various speaking engagements over her four years at Future of Good. She has moderated and facilitated online and in-person conversations across the country around such issues as Canada’s progress toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals, wellbeing for changemakers, the future of work, reverse mentorship, upending the traditional power dynamic, the intersection of technology and social impact, and more.
Thi has also brought to life several events for Future of Good, including the Social Finance Forum – Vancouver Edition and Connect Money Impact with Purppl and Scale Collaborative in Kelowna, B.C.
She has a strong vision for deeply collaborative partnerships that build the social impact ecosystem and will continue to bring a strategic focus to partnerships at Future of Good.
Thi has always been a strong voice for our partners and our members, which will continue through learning what exciting initiatives social and purpose-led organizations are doing, ensuring that changemakers are kept in the loop as the social impact world rapidly changes.
Partnerships at Future of Good have evolved from partner-funded journalistic articles to various other vehicles, such as journalism fellowships, learning resources, and summit experiences – all of which will contribute to the organizational and team social impact learning journey.
Thi will continue to innovate the partnership and membership model and ensure that Future of Good works hard to amplify the work of changemakers across Canada. This is an exciting evolution as we orient Future of Good as an essential professional resource for social purpose teams from coast to coast to coast.
Future of Good is an ambitious organization with ambitious goals, and we know Thi will be the right person to get us there.
