Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

It is with great excitement that I announce that Anouk Bertner has joined the Future of Good team.

Anouk has worked in social enterprises, non-profits, and sustainability for the past 15 years. She loves to tackle complex problems with system thinking to tease out new win-win solutions. Most recently, Anouk was Principal with ProCo, an intersectional feminist consulting cooperative founded in 2019. Prior to that, Anouk was the Executive Director of EcoEquitable, a female-centric organization that works primarily with vulnerable and visible minority women. Anouk is currently the Chair of the Board of the Common Approach to Impact Measurement, a national project that seeks to create standards for charities and social purpose organizations to use in their work. Anouk holds an MBA in Sustainable Business from Concordia University. Anouk is bilingual in French and English and identifies as she/her.

Anouk will lead the day-to-day management of Future of Good. Her mission on the team is to set a sustainable pace for an ambitious organization; build and organize our team structure, capacity and effectiveness for growth; nurture a culture that is bold and daring, yet caring and fulfilling; and implement streamlined day-to-day decision-making, workflow and processes.

“I love the social purpose sector, and like with all relationships, I am excited to celebrate the wins and advances and also help bring accountability and better practices through Future of Good. I am looking forward to working with a high performing team, supporting extensive growth over the next five years, and taking on ambitious new projects that will lift all boats in the social impact world.”

Since our launch in January 2019, Future of Good has quickly become an essential source of news, analysis, insights and commentary to make sense of a sector and society in transition. Future of Good’s mission is to enrich changemakers everyday with smart coverage of the social impact world. Every week, thousands of changemakers from the nonprofit, co-operative, corporate, social enterprise, philanthropic, social finance, academic, and public sectors subscribe to our content, attend our events and engage with a pan-Canadian community of changemakers.

We know that in the midst of a pandemic, we are extremely fortunate to be growing our team. A huge thank you to our members, partners, impact investors and readers for your confidence in Future of Good as an essential professional resource for you and your team.

Please join me in welcoming Anouk as she begins her role this July.
