Join us for one of the most interactive global conferences on international development!
Connect with a wide range of actors – including civil society members from the Global South, students and youth leaders, government representatives and private sector, researchers, and international development specialists – for engaging discussions on some of the most pressing issues, challenges, and solutions in global development.
SAVE THE DATE! WUSC’s 13th International Forum!
This year’s edition of the International Forum will be offered in a hybrid format, to allow greater participation and accessibility!
Join us online on Feb. 8 for two free virtual panels featuring leaders from the Global South joining us to share their perspectives and solutions to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in their respective communities, and their thoughts on how their work can be better supported by the global community.
On Feb. 9, 2024, we invite you to join us in person in Ottawa, at the Shaw Center, to hear youth, leaders and changemakers from diverse backgrounds share the success stories buried beneath the headlines of climate change, conflicts and poverty, and discuss how we can be creative and bold in coming up with solutions to achieve greater impact, locally, nationally, and globally.
Should we do things differently, or do different things? In the evening, you are all invited to join us for a different approach to global solidarity: the official launch of Through My Eyes: Art for Development, WUSC’s new art exhibition! Guest artists from Ghana, Malawi, and Canada will be present for the occasion.
Members of the WUSC network (Local Committee members, students from the Student Refugee Program, WUSC alumni, membership holders, and close collaborators) are invited to attend closed sessions on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024. The WUSC Annual General Assembly will also take place in person on Feb. 10. All are welcome to attend the AGA.
