Let’s face it. It’s been one heck of a year.
January feels like a distant memory. I’ve lost touch with some friends but met people on my street I didn’t know. Sporting events, movie nights, family dinners out, and music concerts seemingly vanished overnight. The word ‘bubble’ had little meaning in my life before any of this, but it’s now used so much that it’s one of the first words in my two-year old’s vocabulary. Millions of people around the world lost loved ones — I lost my grandmother in India. And for folks like us, who work in organizations that create positive change, our teams, strategic plans, and programs have struggled in ways we perhaps never imagined. On top of all this, you may be Zoomed out.
But — there is a different type of energy picking up momentum across Canada. It’s what stirred us up, challenged us, made us speak up
