Check your charity’s links: CRA makes change to listings page

The Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) has made an unexpected change to its charities listing page that could affect hundreds of charities.

The public charity database allows users to verify the registration status of charities, view their contact details and annual fiscal returns.

Charities whose websites are directly linked to the CRA’s charity listing page from their own website may now redirect to an “error” page.
To fix the error, charities should search for their charity on the CRA’s website and use the new, updated link.
