Danya Pastuszek

A mother, wife, neighbour, and runner, Danya (she/her) is passionate about the role of place-based collaboration. She first worked with refugees and then with people impacted by criminal justice systems. She spent a decade with Promise Partnership of Salt Lake, building cross-sector partnerships in schools, neighbourhoods, and cities before joining Tamarack Institute in 2022. Tamarack recently stewarded an open letter to philanthropy, which has been signed by 125 organizations committed to building the relationships between organizations and funders that underlie transformational change and has helped catalyze the Canadian Collaborative Funders Initiative, of which Tamarack is a founding partner. Danya is on the board of directors for Future of Good and also volunteers with the Canadian Nonprofit Digital Resiliency Centre, Propel Impact, and a youth basketball team.
